Introduction to Natural Language Processing, session 1

Introduction to Natural Language Processing, session 1 In-Person / Online

This 3-part workshop provides an overview of the natural language processing (NLP) domain and its applications. The first session provides an introduction to NLP and its position with respect to other domains, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. We will also cover basic concepts about applications and tasks in NLP and their challenges. We will also have a glimpse at chatGPT.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
- Understand what natural language processing is with respect to other artificial intelligence domains.
- Identify tasks that can be carried out by applying natural language processing.
- Familiarize yourself with chatGPT.
