EduGenAI - Upskill Workshop at Google HQ In-Person

As part of the 2-day symposium, EduGenAI: Shaping Tomorrow's Learning with Generative AI, a bilingual upskill workshop on Generative AI in Education will be held at the Montreal Google Headquarters.
The workshop will be divided into 2 sections:
Part 1 - The 5 trends driving the Future of Education by Vincent Lecuyer
Topics covered will include:
- Rising Demands for Problem Solvers
- Making Learning Personal
- Elevating the teacher/professor
- Re-evaluating student progress
- Shift to lifelong learning mindset
About the instructor: Vincent has been a Pre-Sales Engineering Specialist at Google Cloud for 6 years, helping businesses modernize their operations and discover how the cloud can help them achieve their business goals. Raised in a family heavily involved in education, he has always had a fascination with the field and was fortunate, in the past year, to combine his technological knowledge with his passion for education through the Google For Education program in Quebec. He is currently collaborating with several school boards and private schools in Quebec to support their pedagogical objectives through Google products.
Part 2 - Generative AI for Education by Rihana Msadek
Topics covered include:
- What is Generative AI?
- Examples of Generative AI use models and capabilities.
- Generative AI in the classroom (Personalized learning, Creativity boost, Practice and Feedback, Language support).
About the instructor: Rihana Msadek is an AI Customer Engineer at Google. She completed a masters degree in computer engineering in France, a masters degree in Artificial Intelligence in Canada, and a mini-MBA program in the United States. She's spoken at various AI conference across Canada and actively coaches senior leaders through one-on-one sessions and tailored workshops on how they can leverage AI to achieve their strategic goals.
