Intermediate Data Wrangling in R In-Person / Online

Overview: This workshop will continue your journey to manipulate and clean data sets (often called data wrangling). Building on your previous knowledge, you will learn how to treat missing values, join data sets horizontally and vertically and calculate values in data sets across columns and per row. Further, we will dive into functionals from the purrr package to achieve loop-like behaviour in piping workflows.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to

- apply different methods to treat missing values

- manipulate data across columns and row-wise in data sets

- join data sets vertically and horizontally

- apply functionals in pipe workflows
